As the Email Marketing Manager for Bamboo Reef, I manage the end-to-end creation of two monthly newsletters. Drawing on my industry knowledge, copywriting, and design skills, I craft engaging campaigns and leverage data-driven insights to improve their performance. A typical newsletter includes promotional features showcasing Bamboo Reef classes, products, and trips, as well as reporting on industry news and an interview with a notable industry figure.
Accomplishments & Stats
- Introduced a monthly interview feature. I’ve conducted interviews with Alexey Molchanov (champion freediver & world record holder), Keith Roostart (Founder of the Giant Giant Kelp Restoration Project), Vince Christian (Founder of the Sunflower Star Laboratory), Ariella Simke (Associate Editor at Scuba Diving Magazine), and more.
- Increased open rate by 61%; increased clicks by 32% and decreased unsubscribe rate by 30%
